Job Description:
A company is looking for an Appeals Coordinator I to assist with
administrative tasks in the Appeals Department.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately categorize and triage incoming appeals or inquiries
Review appeal requests and redirect them to appropriate functional
areas
Manage a large volume of documents and interact with other
departments to resolve issues
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in
Appeals & Grievances
Ability to handle a high volume case load and multitask in a
fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Excel and demonstrated data entry skills
Knowledge of medical records organization and claims terminology
preferred
