Job Description:
A company is looking for a Buyer I to coordinate and execute the
planning, procurement, and distribution of purchased finished
goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze purchase requisitions against inventory targets and manage
the Purchase Order release process
Resolve vendor issues related to sourcing, pricing, and service
while maintaining timely order control
Communicate vendor backorder issues and assist in managing product
allocations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages
Ability to apply basic algebra and statistics in data
interpretation
At least 2 years of related experience preferred
