Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Systems Engineer (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Install, tune, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain computer systems
relevant to supported applications
Develop and implement techniques to prevent system problems and
support root cause analysis
Evaluate new systems through in-depth testing and research for
recommendations and purchasing
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or
4 additional years of relevant work experience
8 years of experience in overseeing design, development, and
implementation of software systems
Broad experience with IBM MQ Administration on UNIX and z/OS
platforms
Extensive knowledge in configuring and managing MQ queue managers
and security
Advanced UNIX/Linux skills, including the ability to write/edit
UNIX shell scripts
