Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pre Registration Specialist to
confirm patient information and collect liabilities prior to
service.
Key Responsibilities
Confirm and secure accurate registration data, demographic
information, and insurance coverage before services
Communicate patient liability estimates and expectations, and
attempt collections on identified liabilities
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a patient-friendly
experience
Required Qualifications
One (1) year of post high school business or college course work
preferred
National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification
preferred
Minimum one (1) year experience in a customer service role
preferred
Medical Terminology proficiency by exam
One (1) year admitting, billing, or registration experience in a
healthcare setting or relevant educational background
