Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder Inpatient.
Key Responsibilities
Abstracts, codes, sequences, and interprets clinical information
from various medical records
Assigns correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures
with accurate sequencing
Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and ensures
confidentiality of patient records
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
2+ years of inpatient coding experience in an acute care
setting
Experience with Epic and Optum CAC
Must possess RHIT, RHIA, or CCS credential
Able to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST
Maintain a 95% coding accuracy rate
