is looking to bring on a talented 2nd Shift Water-Bearing . This
role is based on-site in our Huntington Beach, CA warehouse. The
hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, full-time
from 2:15 p.m.-11:00 p.m. The position will be rotational helping
to support the combined efforts of multiple positions within our
Assembly team, such as Water-Bearing, Final Assembly, and Picking.
The Assembly Production Team Member is a critical role within the
company and has a direct impact on the quality and quantity of
products that California Faucets provides to its customers. The
primary purpose of this position is to fill customer orders by
selecting, sorting, testing and assembling components into
completed plumbing faucets and fixtures. When performing these
jobs, the following activities are required: Assembling plumbing
systems and fixtures (spouts, valves, showerheads, etc.). Water
pressure and flow testing on required assemblies. Inspection of
finished components during assembly to conform to quality
standards. Following instructions and locating parts on Pick
Tickets. Notifying team leader of quality variances and parts
shortages. Operating hand tools. Efficiently picking parts for
final assembly and ensuring the correct number and type of part is
obtained. Carrying or transporting orders to different staging
areas utilizing material handling equipment, such as push carts.
Reading and counting accurately, performing simple math, and
writing legibly. Scanning tickets into the ERP computer system and
occasionally retrieving order information. Performing corrective
maintenance on water systems such as valves and blow-offs. Entering
orders into ERP system to track rework orders to the finishing
department. Ensuring rework and repair orders are maintained in an
organized manner, and up to date. Maintaining close communication
with the Finishing team to ensure rework components are returned to
the Waterbearing team in a timely manner. Performing additional
assignments per management direction. Please note that this job

Requirements: The Following Personal Attributes/Skills are
Required: Adaptability/flexibility when encountering problems. Must
be able to communicate discrepancies to team leader and be able to
solve problems and implement solutions. Ability to follow
instructions and comply with all safety regulations including the
use of personal protective equipment. Attention to detail,
accuracy, dependability, and persistence. Ability to work overtime
as needed. Environmental and Safety Considerations: Possible
exposure to heat, cold, dust, and moderate noise when working
indoors. May be required to work with adhesives, power tools,
forced air. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no
supervisory responsibilities. People Interface: The position
requires contact primarily within the department on routine
matters. Contact outside the Production Department is minimal.
Decision Making: The position requires working from detailed
instructions as well as the use of judgment to plan and perform
general decisions to solve a problem or select a course of action
for a standard or recognized method of operation. Supervision
Received: Under general supervision, assignments are both
task-oriented and objective-oriented. Follows established
procedures for routine work; receives specific instruction on
non-routine problems. Accountabilities: After adequate training,
the position requires a level of accountability to complete a
pre-determined amount of work or units completed per shift.
Education and Experience: The minimum educational requirement to
successfully perform this position is a high school diploma or
G.E.D. certificate. Someone entering this position should have at
least six (6) months experience performing similar work in a
related field. Physical Requirements: The physical demands
described herein are representative of those that must be met by an
employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this
job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to walk and use hands to finger. The employee is
frequently required to stand extended periods of time; reach with
hands and arms below and above shoulder; climb or balance, stoop,
kneel, crouch, twist or crawl. The employee may be required to
lift/carry 1-50 pounds when necessary. The employee must be able to
visually identify small finish imperfections. PLEASE NOTE:
Management reserves the right to change or otherwise modify the
functions of this rotational and combined position description to
meet the needs of the Company. This includes multiple positions
within the Production Department that the Company proactively
rotates for health and safety purposes and when staffing needs
dictate. Employees with the skillsets required to perform any of
the following positions can and will be rotated into the proper
Production position under the direction of the Production Manager
as they have been cross-trained to do so.
