Position Summary

The SAP EWM Solution Lead, is responsible for architecting, designing, and supporting the delivery of SAP EWM processes and providing solutions. The EWM Solution Lead works with a team of SAP professionals and collaborates with other SAP and non-SAP team members towards defining, enhancing, and integrating SAP EWM solution across the ERP platform and related business processes. As an EWM Solution Lead, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.



Essential Functions and Duties

Architect solutions and lead the design of processes and solutions. Responsible for developing existing and new SAP system processes and solutions in the logistics execution function.

Provide technical and architectural leadership and manage the overall solution design for the various SAP EWM and legacy warehouse systems to be implemented and integrated as part of a large technical and business transformation.
Ability to develop clear and detailed business requirements and design specifications that can be understood by other delivery teams and business partners.
Works with system integrator(s) to define and/or review and develop all aspects of the SAP architectural design and integration implementation. Act as an escalation point for solution design or issues.
Propose solutions that create value and meets business needs. Participate in software selection.

Mentor Junior member and create an atmosphere of trust, seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation.
Manage relationship and liaison with FFF's business stakeholders on identifying and owning the business processes and requirements to be built in within SAP. Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients and stakeholders to build trust.

Responsible for a variety of other duties including supporting users, diagnosing, and resolving system problems, implementing new modules as a part of a team, making configuration changes, testing patches and upgrades, and modifying and creating production reports.

Function as change agent and influence stakeholders on the benefits of the change.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, math, engineering, business or a related field of study; or four (4) years relevant experience in lieu of degree.



Required Knowledge:

Strong understanding of process management and improvement, working together with business, and technology teams to design, develop, or enhance existing models and customer experience.
Must possess strong hands-on experience and understanding of SAP EWM module configuration set-ups, functionality and its interaction with other ERP modules. Ability to diagnose and resolve problems within and between modules.
Experience in planning, development, implementation, and end-to-end life cycle of complex large scale enterprise transformations.
Versatile and trusted advisor, known for building next generation SAP solutions that balance enterprise standardization with business customization to maximize overall business value.
Has incorporated the voice of the customer into the solution design to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Must have an open mind on exploring & deploying Emerging Technologies like - Blockchain, IoT, Robotic Process Automation to improve processes across the enterprise landscape for faster growth and reduced costs.



Preferred Knowledge:

Knowledge of conveyor control systems.
Knowledge of robotic warehouse systems.
Shipping Manifest system - ShipERP.



Required Experience:

Must have at least ten (10) years [fourteen (14) for non-degreed candidates] of experience designing solutions and supporting multiple SAP environments.
Must have at least ten (10) years of experience working with SAP EWM in distribution or manufacturing environment.
Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience assisting business in the implementation and support of SAP EWM solutions and improving business processes.
Set quality standards and ensure that they are followed during testing and deployment to deliver a defect free product.
Experience conducting and participating in Change Review Board meetings to ensure that all teams are well informed of changes to the production deployment.
Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
Working with internal and external partners to deliver processes and solutions with excellent quality using metrics to track improvements.
Demonstrated thought leader level knowledge and understanding of SAP applications with demonstrated proficiency.



Preferred Experience:

Experience with SOM and CSOS systems and how they integrate with SAP.
Health care manufacturing and / or distribution environment working experience.



Required Skills:

Must have process management skills that include critical thinking, analytical, problem solving and the ability to take initiative.
Design and architect complex projects based on S/4 HANA and its integrations with multiple external applications and partners.
Ability to lead and conduct design workshops using expertise in SAP EWM, warehouse system.
Experience in integrating with Materials & Warehouse processes: Wh Inbound & Outbound processes, 3PL Inventory Management, Shipping, Transportation, Product Tracking & Recalls, DSCSA, DEA compliance.
Develop roadmaps that align with strategic business initiatives.
Must be self-sufficient and able to thrive in ambiguity.
Must possess understanding of SAP MM and EWM configuration set-ups, functionality, and its interaction with other ERP modules. Ability to diagnose and resolve problems within and between modules.
Able to lead functional and technical design workshops and work as part of the team to complete system and process design.
Must have the ability to provide guidance on system to the business. Must have ability to manage relationship with business stakeholders and work collaboratively with partners and cross functional teams.
Coordinate across functional teams to identify dependencies, cross team issue and potential risks as well as formulate end to end solution opportunities and reference models.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Must have a detailed orientation and the proven ability to prioritize work.
Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team.



Professional Certification:

SAP S/4 HANA certification preferred.
PMP certification preferred.
SAP EWM certification preferred.



Physical requirements

Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for long periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Working condition include normal office setting.

Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
