ID: 75470313 Shift: 07:00 PM-07:30 AM Description: ICU/RN W/RECENT 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING.Per Diem - 7p shift, up to 24 hours per week.1. Current and valid state RN license2. Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.3. Current ACLS 30 days upon of hire and maintain current.4. Bachelor s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred, RN-C w/in 2years of hire preferred.5. PALS w/in 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatricpatients.6. NIHSS Certificate7. Will float to other units w/in scope (e.g. ED for holds,Tele/MS) Unit Description: The RN is responsible for the delivery of safe patient careutilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation andevaluation. Provides direct patient care within scope of practice. May float toother units within scope: ER (to care for ICU holds), Telemetry and Med Surg.The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching andactivities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care inthe ICU. The registered nurse is directly responsible and accountable for thecare given to his/her assigned patients. He/she communicates with the physicianabout changes in the patient's clinical condition including hemodynamicmonitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results andsymptomatology.
