big-picture view of what you’ll do: Care for the personal care and
hygiene needs of patients at home or in facilities Work with a team
to deliver excellent patient care Help with daily needs such as
bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional
intake Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion
exercises Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring
a change in care, medication or equipment A few must-haves for
Certified Nursing Assistants: High school diploma (or equivalent)
and active Nursing Assistant Certification in California Minimum of
1 year of CNA experience in a medical facility CPR certification
Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to
