Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing
occupational therapy services within a vibrant elementary school
setting, this full-time position offers the opportunity to support
students' development and learning over the course of a full
semester. Based in La Mesa, CA, the role begins February 2nd and
continues through the end of the school year on June 4th. The
position involves working Monday through Friday for 7.5 hours each
day at a single school site. You will collaborate closely with a
full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) onsite and benefit from
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) support, enhancing
service delivery and student outcomes. Key Qualifications and
Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in
school-based settings Strong understanding of pediatric
developmental milestones and educational goals Ability to design
and implement individualized therapy programs for elementary-aged
children Effective communication skills for collaborating with
educators, families, and support staff Familiarity with school
policies and procedures related to special education and therapy
services Responsibilities: Deliver assessment and intervention
services aligned with IEP goals Participate in multidisciplinary
team meetings and contribute to student progress reports Adapt
therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students in an
educational environment Maintain accurate documentation to comply
with school and regulatory standards This full-semester contract
position offers a structured day with no remote work options.
