Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego’s campus includes the O’Toole Breast Care Center, a 24-hour emergency room that is a Level I Trauma Center, outpatient physical rehabilitation, minimally invasive robotic surgery and our childbirth unit (including a Level II neonatal intensive care unit). As an RN in Surgical Acute, you'll gain exposure to general surgical patients including bariatric, ortho, spinal, urology, medical, telemetry, and trauma. Continuous and manual bladder irrigation, suprapubic urinary catheters, nephrostomy drains, wound V.A.C. therapy, orthopedic braces, and peritoneal dialysis treatments and administration. This is a high-functioning unit that boasts exceptionally high employee engagement and patients’ satisfaction scores. This position is eligible for New Hires and Relocation Incentives up to $7k. Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour
