As a QA Inspector you will: Plan and perform detailed inspections of materials, parts, and assemblies using precision measuring tools, including: Calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, depth gauges, optical comparators, height gauges, surface plates, and digital/automated inspection devices Accurately document all inspection results in the ERP system in accordance with company policies and quality standards Adhere to all company quality management system requirements, including ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485 Perform various types of inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with customer and industry standards: Receiving inspection In-process inspection Final inspection Shipping inspection Work from engineering drawings, work instructions, and standard inspection directives to: Verify specifications against customer requirements Check and validate certifications, drawings, and documentation Conduct visual and dimensional inspections Reject or flag non-conforming materials and products Support rework verification and prepare items for final shipment Provide required documentation including material certs and First Article Inspection (FAI) reports Perform and generate First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with AS9102 (SAE Aerospace Standard) Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities by: Inspecting materials under review Processing Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs) Completing and scanning Defective Material Reports (DMRs) Transport parts and materials between work centers to facilitate inspections Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company obligations during business operations. This is a full time opportunity The idean candidate will have: Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection-related functions Basic knowledge of IPC standards, including IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Familiarity with J-STD-001 soldering standards Proficient in basic mathematics, including geometry and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Training and hands-on experience in mechanical inspection to ANSI standards Strong English communication skills—must be able to write clear, detailed records and documentation Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work within an ERP system Skilled in using precision measurement tools, including: Calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, depth gauges Optical comparators, height gauges, surface plates CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and digital/automated inspection devices Ability to operate CMM independently for low-complexity parts Prior experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and ITAR compliance is preferred Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels and departments Available to work 1st shift, 7 am to 3 pm Able to meet customers hiring criteria Pay Rate: $28.00-32.00/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
