Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring for an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer in San Diego, CA. As an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer you will create and maintain the Mechanical and Systems composite product design. Job roles can cover one or more composite disciplines: electrical, hydro-mechanical, controls manufacturing, software, and display. This specific position is aimed at maintenance of the Mechanical and Hydro-Mechanical product design. This is a full time, contingent to hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor Degree of Science in Engineering with a 3.0 minimum GPA The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of engineering drawings and drafting software programs, i.e. AutoCad or Cero. The ability to communicate ideas clearly is a must. Experience in working in a manufacturing environment or specifically with gas turbine control systems is a plus. Knowledge of Oracle or other database tools is a plus.
